Heartland Regional Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (HRSGNA)



The Heartland Regional Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (HRSGNA), is affiliated with the national Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA). Our professional organization advances the science and practice of gastroenterology and endoscopy nursing through education, research, advocacy, and collaboration. The primary purpose of HRSGNA is to bring the benefits of the national membership to SGNA members at the local level.

We are dedicated to the safe and effective practice of Gastroenterology and endoscopy nursing. Gastrointestinal (G.I.) nurses and associates practice in hospitals, ambulatory settings and physician offices. HRSGNA promotes professional development of its members by providing educational opportunities in an atmosphere of mutual support.
